Here is a guy that I barely remember playing for the Pens. For good reason too. Two games into his second year with the Pens, he was traded to the Quebec Nordiques.
The Pens actually got him through the waiver draft before the start of the 1984-85 season. That's why you see the "Drafted to Pittsburgh October 1984" stamped on the card over here. He is also pictured in his Blues uniform, where he played the better parts of 6 seasons with them before being let go. Regardless, the checklist considers this a Penguins card so I do too.
After being sent to Quebec in 1985-86, he was again traded to Hartford after just 15 games (for another former Penguin Greg Malone), where he played with his brother Dave. Another lackluster performance and short stint in the minors led to his retiring from hockey.
This is from the 1984-85 O-Pee-Chee set and is signed in person with at blue Sharpie. Not that you can legibly read it though.

Welcome to The Real DFG's Pittsburgh Penguin Autograph Project. My goal is to eventually try and get at least one autograph of every player to lace up the skates in an NHL game for the Pittsburgh Penguins. It could have been for one game or 700 games, I will add them. Occasionally I may post cards of former players in their new team uniforms. While the goal is to get autos in Pens uni's, it isn't always possible. Since the team has been in existence since 1967, the list is pretty large. Last I checked, it was somewhere in the range of 624 different players. Currently, I sit at about 100 autographs (with some duplication). Enjoy the posts.
